Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread 

  • 1/2 Cup of Butter
  • 1 Cup of White Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Cup of Sour Cream
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Vanilla
  • 1 Teaspoon of Lemon Juice
  • 3 ripe Bananas
  • 1 3/4 Cup Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1-300 Gram Package of Chocolate Chips
  1. Blend Banana in mixer or mash by hand- remove from bowl
  2. Place soften butter in mixer bowl, beat for about 1 minute on medium speed
  3. Add sugar and cream together with butter for 2 minutes
  4. Add 1 egg at a time, adding the next once first is completely incorporated (we careful not to over mix at this stage)
  5. Add Sour Cream, Vanilla, Lemon Juice, mix
  6. Add mashed Banana mixture
  7. Mix all dry ingredients together and slowly add to wet (adding 1/2 Cup of dry mixture at a time
  8. Place into Bundt Pan or Loaf (I use silicone, so you do not have to grease
  9. Bake at 350’F for 55-60 minutes (times will vary depending on oven)

As you can see, we make this one a lot.  It freezes well and is great for snacks in lunches, or on the go.
