Crock Pot Pulled Pork
Pork Butt (I purchased mine through Costco, however a butcher would have them, local grocery stores). Leave the fat cap on.
I placed in the Crock Pot on 8 hours Low with 1/2 cup of water, with
Rub Seasoning: equal parts:
- onion powder
- chili powder
- garlic powder
Place lid and walk away.
Once down cooking (you can tell by the look, but for first timers, take a fork and see if meat is tender and easy to shred.
Once ready, I take out of Crock Pot, rest on a plate until warm. I then shred the meat place in bowl and then add your favourite BBQ sauce. You can reheat on a later date, put back into crockpot, freeze or make into little lettuce roll ups like I did. See “Pulled Pork Lettuce Roll Ups” under my Recipes.
