Pulled Pork Lettuce Roll Ups

 

Pulled Pork Lettuce Roll Ups

The fillings of this are interchangable (shrimp, crab, chicken, tuna, red peppers, nori, egg etc.)

  • Pulled Pork (see in recipe section)
  • Rice Paper
  • 3 Carrots- sliced into matchstick pieces
  • 1 Avocado- cut in half and scoop halves, slice into vertical strips
  • 1 Cucumber- peel, slice into matchstick pieces
  • 4 Leaves of Romaine- wash, pat dry, leave whole
  • Soya Sauce
  1. Soak the rice paper, once ready (refer to package) place on cutting board, or working surface
  2. Place romaine in the middle of rice paper, so most of it fills the area
  3. place fillings: Carrot, Cucumber, Avocado
  4. Top with Pulled Pork
  5. Grab edge of rice paper closest to your body, lift up and over (away from you)tucking in the filling, fold in left and right edges, then roll up as tight as you can.
  6. Serve with Soya on the side

Equipment

bowl of warm water (large enough to fit the circumference of the rice paper)
