Beef Goat Cheese Burgers with Portobello Mushrooms

Beef Goat Cheese Burgers

Makes approx. 9 Burgers

  • 2 pounds of Lean Ground Beef
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons of Dijon Mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons of Worcestershire
  • 1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 Teaspoon Cayenne
  • 1 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 Teaspoon Basil Flakes
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 6 oz Unripened Goat Cheese

Combine all ingredients together except cheese.  Mix thoroughly and shape into balls.  Once combined, add  1 Tablespoon of Goat Cheese to middle, surround with meat.

Bake on 400’F 15-20 Minutes or BBQ until cooked until 165’F

Portobello Mushrooms

  • 2 Portobello Mushrooms (cut into slices)
  • 2 Tablespoons of Salted Butter
  • 1 oz of Red Wine
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Melt Butter until white and frothy–add Mushrooms, Salt and Pepper.  You can finish these in the oven when you are waiting for the burgers to finish.  Serve with Burger.
