Crispy Skin Trout Filet

  • 1 Filet of Lake Trout
  • Sprinkle of filet: garlic powder, Chili Flakes, Salt & Pepper
  • 1 Tableapoon salted Butter

Heat up favourite frying pan, melt butter until white foam appears.  Place Trout SKIN side down for about 4 minutes.  Flip over on to flesh side and cook another 2 minutes.  Carefully place in plate skin side up and peel back skin slowly tapered end first.  Take skin and place back into pan until crispy (4 minutes approx.)


Serve this with rice, vegetables, salad etc and enjoy a quick healthy meal.
