Butterscotch Cookies

  • 3/4 Cup of butter
  • 1/2 Cup brown Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup White Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla
  • 2 Tablespoons of Plain Yogurt
  • 1 3/4 All purpose Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 Pkg butterscotch chips

Cream together in mixing bowl butter and sugars.  Once a pale yellow add egg.  Add vanilla and yogurt until combined.  Add all dry ingredients in 2 parts– do not overwork.  Add chips at end.  Place on cookie sheet 12 balls at a time.  Bake at 350′ for 12 minutes.  Turn off oven and bake for another 6-8 minutes.  Once out let rest for 10 minutes.  Enjoy!
