Shortbread Cookies

  • 3 cups of butter
  • 2 cups of icing sugar
  • 6 cups of flour

Cream sugar and butter together, slowly incorporate flour.  Rest for 10 minutes.  Lay on floured a surface and roll out.  We used pumpkin cutouts in the spirit of Autumn.

Bake at 350’F  for 13 minutes.

You can serve them plain, dusted with icing sugar or with icing on them.
